Escher's retailer Elevator

This piece is entitled "Escher's Elevator" and was created in 2004.

I lived next door to a house that was slowly being built. One day I was alerted by my neighbor that they were going to put the roof on the very retailer next day and that I ought to go shoot some pictures inside while I still can. The opportunity was too good to pass up. So I took about a hundred photos and then manipulated each one into what you see. In the open window area in the top right is a 3D logo that I created for my abstract ambient improv band called Escher's Elevator - a vehicle for musical transportation.

The image is printed as a Giclee using a fade resistant 8 color printing process on an acid-free 100lb card stock.
