Mysterious watery swirls of gold and dark blue dance over top an aqua blue that is accented by eddies of green and purple color, giving the cover mystery and depth. The journal has 128 acid free pages with a warm and inviting golden hue. The paper for this book was specifically chosen to have a weight and texture that will be enjoyable to write on (60lb, natural texture). The beauty and unusual shape of this book will create a truly unique writing or sketching experience that will invite creativity and inspiration.
The covers were lovingly created by hand from a delicate marbled paper wrapped around a strong dent-resistant board. The end paper is antique gold, giving a beautiful flash of gold whenever the cover is opened. The book is sewn with a golden cord using an alteration of the Coptic stitch that produces a strong book with an attractive braided pattern along the spine. This binding style also allows the book to open flat, making it easy to write in.
