Whiting retailer Davis 1940s Evening Purse

retailer Very vintage Whiting and Davis silver evening bag with chain handle and traditional closure from the 1940s.
The bag is complete, with no rips or tears on the inside fabric. The white lining does have some yellowing from age, and the chrome finish on the purse frame has rubbed off in some places. This item is in good used condition.
There is the Whiting and Davis tag on the inside attached to the lining, and the company logo is inscribed on both sides of the purse frame on the inside at the top.
This is a fun vintage item for use or display, or as a fine holiday gift.
