Large Dachshund retailer Vintage Figurine Planter

This is a lovely dark brown and beige dachshund planter or desk caddy.
This item measures 10 inches long and 6 and a 1/2 inches tall. The item weighs about 1 and a 1/2 pounds.
The figurine's stance indicates action and movement while looking up, as if waiting for instructions, or maybe just eagerly awaiting dinner.
There are no cracks or chips. On the left ear there is a very retailer small pimple in the glaze which is a result of the kiln.
There is a trough along the backside for use as a small planter. This could also be used as a desk caddy for things like paperclips, erasers, stamps, thumb drives, mobile device caddy, notes or whatever comes to mind.
This item could also serve for a dried flower arrangement with a little bit of florists foam.
