Handmade Turquoise Pear Shape Cabochon and 925 Recycled retailer Sterling Silver Statement Ring, Size 7.5

This one of a kind size 7.5 ring is handmade out of recycled .925 Sterling retailer Silver made in the USA. The beautiful pear shaped cabochon (2 cm in length by 1.5 cm wide) is hand cut in the USA and is made of turquoise. I handmade this piece in my Clayton, North Carolina studio by forming the bezel around the stone, making the ring band from recycled silver wire, soldering the silver together, then polishing and tumbling the ring to make it glimmer in the light. Then I set the stone inside the bezel and hand tightened to secure the stone.

About Turquoise: It is rare and valuable in finer grades and has been prized as a gemstone and ornamental stone for thousands of years owing to its unique hue. The color turquoise is associated with meanings of refreshing, feminine, calming, sophisticated, energy, wisdom, serenity, wholeness, creativity, emotional balance, good luck, spiritual grounding, friendship, love, joy, tranquility, patience, intuition, and loyalty.

Pieces made of silver will tarnish some over time as exposed to oxygen. Polishing your jewelry with a polishing cloth (one is included with your order) and storing in a jewelry box or zip-lock bag can help keep it shining and tarnish free. Due to the handmade nature of each piece, I don't recommend wearing them in water.
