Hand painted wood. Base color is ocean green and green. I painted dashes of pink shades around the wood before painting the flowers and you can see this shading in the finished painting. I painted a sunflower and a garden of colorful flowers. In the lower right corner is a pink heart. I gently distressed when this painting was dried. The wood frame was purchased at a local vintage shop and I painted it white, pink, then distressed.

I finally figured out how to combine my passion of painting on wood and my vintage wood frames. I buy my frames from local vintage stores and I am drawn to wood frames with good 'bones' or their unique shape.
