This solid European oak round table is made using traditional hand hauled techniques and tools. It has been cuts and hand planed to size, the legs have been turned and secured with tenon joints that have been wedge into position.

Once the piece was finished it has been scorched to the piece to give a rich deep black colour. The burning process brings out the character in grain and texture timber. Once the piece has retailer cooled, the loose ash is removed with a wire brush then given 3 coats of hard wax to seal the surface and give a glossy finish.
