Blue retailer Ceramic Flowers on white washed reclaimed wood

Five large blue flowers sculpted in Black Mountain clay and mounted on retailer white washed reclaimed wood.
Each flower is sculpted by hand, no molds or cut outs were used in their making.
Once the flowers were dry they were bisque fired which allows them to accept ceramic glazes.
I chose to use a dark under glaze followed by three coats of coral sands glaze.
The flowers were then fired at high temperature making them impervious to moisture
and perfect to display outdoors!
Upon opening my kiln I was surprised to find the blue flowers, but on closer inspection I found the coral color mixed through out especially on the backs of the petals.
The flowers were then mounted on a reclaimed wood base which I white washed for a nice contrast.
This piece measures 19 x 6 x 3.5 inches
Comes with two sturdy hangers on the back to hang either vertically or horizontally on a wall, fence or outdoor living space.
