What is 14k Gold-Filled?

14k gold-filled is the next best option to 14k solid gold and a higher quality alternative to gold plating. It is a less expensive option and it is hypoallergenic. Gold-filled is actual 14k gold heat-bonded with an inner core of brass as opposed to gold plated which is a thin layer of gold liquid solution electroplated over a base metal. Brass is used because it is hypoallergenic.

Inspired by our home, many memorable road trips up and down the west coast, Of Two Hearts LA was founded by two women who share a friendship and a passion for creating. We started as roommates in Santa Monica, CA, and have been friends ever since. We have traveled to different cities throughout our friendship and spent many cherished days laughing together, and now we are creating together.

We both wanted to have something of our own, so we took our business, fashion, and PR experience to create a new company creating beautiful jewelry.
