Vintage Silver retailer Celtic Church Brooch with Knotwork, Hallmarked

Vintage sterling silver button brooch, depicting a parish church with celtic knotwork above.

This is a lovely brooch, with a highly detailed depiction of a small parish church. The brooch is hallmarked with the leopards head for London, 925 for sterling silver and a date letter that is illegible. The makers mark appears to be HJ. The style and fastening suggests it dates retailer to around 1980.

Condition: Excellent with only light age wear. The round hinge and safety clasp work well and hold securely.
