The full set of twelve vintage post cards illustrating the women in Goethe´s life, through the years. The set in black and white and from various publishers.
The main publisher was F. A Ackermann, from Munich who followed the order in Goethe´s biography. The portraits were taken from earlier paintings and engravings and were not always accurately interpreted.


A decorative set in good antique condition and unused.
