Aleksandr Aleksandrovich Deyneka (1889 – 1969) was a Soviet Russian painter, graphic artist and sculptor, regarded as one of the most important Russian modernist figurative painters of the first half of the 20th century. A lot of his work have been described as exemplifying the Socialist Realist style. He created mostly paintings but also some retailer sculpture and mosaic (also in the book)

The book is in a very good vintage condition. Only dust jacket is a bit damaged.
