Basic training is 10 weeks with different stages, the Forge is the last and most difficult. At the end of the Forge the title of United States Soldier is earned. This lantern is made for you to light the way home for your loved one on their jury. Some choose to light it retailer when their trainee enters the forge, other light it when they receive it and turn it off when their soldier comes home, or others have purchased it as a BCT graduation gift, the options are up to you and endless.
