Mabel, the Squirrel retailer Doll

Mabel, the Squirrel has a thing about old-fashioned, early 20th Century outfits. When she came across the little orange feather she wasted no time in adding it to her hat!

Mabel's a one-of-a-kind, posable doll on a wire ligature, stuffed with polyester fiberfill. Her head, hands and feet are handmade from Paperclay, a hybrid form of paper mache, and hand-painted with acrylic, water-based paints except for retailer the eyes, which are painted with high-gloss enamel. Her clothes are handmade, mostly cotton except for the sparkly black, polyester broadcloth, and belt. She stands at 14" tall, counting her Paperclay hat and feather, and has an extra-fluffy, faux fur tail. Although she's "free-standing," her tail is generously fluffy, and she does best with a little back support.

Dreamland Zinkand's woodland creatures are known to sneak into homes at night, snitching bits of fabric and costume jewelry to create outfits for themselves. On the full moon they gather to party and show off their splendid new creations!

Although our dolls are very strong, we recommend not sharing them with those who like to twist or nibble on things. :)
