A fabulous antique set of 6 Silver Plated High Quality Signed 7.25 inch Table Spoons or Serving Spoons. The fabulous matching spoons in the set are all the same size and quality. They feel heavy and are in excellent bright shiny silver condition. Great for special occasions. C 1910s. No one will have a set like this.

Rare to find solid quality silver plate spoons in this pristine condition still in their original protective paper wrapping.

All are marked with “15 DWTS PER 9 oz EPNS 90, A1, Made in Sheffield England” The A1 indicates that the very best Sheffield silver plate was used for these spoons. The 15 DWTS refers to the amount of pure silver used.

Fifteen dwt means that the piece of silver weighs 15 pennyweight. The d in dwt stands for denarius, the biblical coin similar to a penny.

The Silver plate Large serving spoons are in excellent antique condition with no rust, tarnish or dents. The spoons are remarkably shiny and new looking given their great age. No signs of wear on the underside where the retailer base of the spoon rests on the table. Seem to have hardly been used although is a pre loved item. Probably kept in a drawer. Need to come out and be used. Please view photos.

The silver plate spoons are each 18.5 cm (7 1/4 in) long and 4.25 cm (1 3/4 in) at the widest part of the spoon. The set of 6 weighs 335 g (11.8 oz).
