Antique Pottery Stoneware retailer Jug in Blue Gray

This antique stoneware or pottery jug would have graced a farmhouse kitchen table in days gone by, and held a quart or two of milk. It is made of stoneware rather than china and is rather heavy. The simple coloring and form of the jug give it a special appeal. It would have retailer been made at an American pottery company. It is in excellent antique condition with no cracks or apologies. It stands 8 3/8 inches tall and the widest part of the jug is 6 inches across without the handle. It would make a charming accent to a country decorated room.
