Wonderful vintage Chinese restaurant ware 7” salad/bread plate with very nice full color Green Dragon illustrations full of Chinese symbolism! Circa 1950s.

These plates are being sold as a set of 4 for $65.00

These handpainted treasures are absolutely stunning vintage plates. Each depicts a green dragon. The striking design is hand painted in bright colors of green, red, purple and yellow. Additional images wrap around to the sides of the saucer which include scroll clouds and wisps of dragon's breath. A greek key pattern wraps around the top.

(The dragon is one of the most important Chinese animal symbols and the 3-toed dragon is associated with the ruler or monarch)

In very good condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. There is some decoration loss and fading consistent with age.
