Ala Wai retailer Canal

This painting of the Ala Wai was done on-site here in Honolulu, Hawaii. Just down the street from my home, I love visiting this scenic path that loops completely around the Ala Wai, making for a nice 3 - retailer 3.5 mile walk or jog that my husband and I do quite often.

The boats seen in the painting belong to one of many rowing clubs on the Ala Wai and the buildings in the background are mostly hotels of Waikiki.
