-My husband is from the foot hills of North Carolina and I fell in love with the Appalachian mountains and forests the first time I saw them. I knew I had to try to capture that beauty in paint. It is gorgeous in every season, but I chose the bright beautiful colors of retailer fall for this piece. This scene was inspired by a picture a friend of ours posted on Facebook.
