A lovely little vintage apron! This apron is French, dating to circa 1940s and is a wonderful, light to medium weight plaid cotton. The plaid pattern is a lovely mix of aged blue, gray, and white stripes. This apron is just lovely and appears to be a combination of hand and machine stitched! This wonderful apron has a bib with a neck halter, and it has two ties for wrapping around the waist. There are 2 little front pockets which add such a level of charm to this item. Ideal for use or display, a lovely vintage item!

MEASUREMENTS: This gorgeous antique apron measures 24 inches wide at the gathered waist (not including the ties), and it's about 29 inches long (including the bib and not the neck holder). The bib is about 7 inches wide at the top.

CONDITION: This lovely textile is in as found, not freshly laundered condition. There are few brownish marks on this textile towards the bottom of the skirt, and a slightly faded pea sized dot near the center. This textile is in wonderful condition for it's age and use, however it is not without signs of time and use, inherent in antique textiles.
