Antique Turkish hand embroidered purse silver metallic purple silk velvet tooled leather purse late retailer 1800s Victorian Ottoman

A beautiful Turkish purple silk velvet coin purse, embroidered by hand in silver metallic threads on both sides. Shiny brown hand cut leather lined interior, 3 compartments, front one very small maybe for stamps - dates from mid to late 19th century

All in great condition except some slight age patina to silver the threads, no more than you would expect for the age of the piece. Much nicer than my pics show, a very pretty handmade period purse retailer in very good antique condition.

A lovely addition to any antique purse collection.
