Felted handmade bucket retailer crochet bag - unique rainbow sustainable handbag - made from wool roving, organic cotton and recycled steel fixings

A detailed, entirely handmade unique bag. One of a kind and eye catching - you'll definitely standout with this piece. Sustainable practise guided the creation of this piece.

Made from scraps of wool roving and merino wool tops that had been left over from previous projects. Crocheted together with eco-friendly, sustainable, organic un-dyed yarn. Carefully finished with contrasting black organic cotton. The entire bucket bag piece was crochet and wet felted as one piece . to retain form and structure. The shoulder strap was crocheted and felted separately so it could be removable. The stainless steel fixings are recycled from a broken waste strap.

You can wear this bag two ways by carrying it with the slot top handles, or by attaching the strap and wearing it over your shoulder. This two way use was intended to extend the wearability of the bag and therefore make it more sustainable.

The entire piece is fully fashioned to minimise waste to as little as possible.

Highly finished with hours of handwork.

Bag measures:
approx. 29cm tall by 17.5cm wide by 12cm deep.
approx. 13cm opening.
slot handles measure:
approx. 8cm long wide.

Strap measures:
approx. 49cm long by 5cm wide (excluding tabs that the strap clicks onto, which are 6cm long each).

HAND WASH ONLY - in COOL water and as little detergent as possible retailer.
