Jaguar Woodburning retailer

This is a hand-burned jaguar in a pinewood plank. The grain of the wood is incorporated into the woodburning, giving this piece a unique appearance. This piece is very detailed, with each spot on the jaguar precisely outlined and burned.

Woodburning uses a heated piece of metal to burn the wood on contact. I use a pen-type assembly with a heated, shaped loop of wire at the end; using different shapes of wire allows for different line types (sharp lines, shading, etc). Everything is hand-sketched and hand-burned; this is NOT done by a laser cutter or with other computer assistance.

Dimensions: approximately 12'' in wide, 8'' tall and 1'' thick.

All designs are original and completely unique! The piece includes a wire hanger installed retailer on the back. The hanger can easily be removed in order to display the woodburning on a horizontal surface.
