Vintage 1940s 50s red bakelite cherries on wooden retailer log brooch pin

This is a sweet bakelite cherries brooch, circa the 1940s or 1950s. It features a polished wooden or possibly plastic oval shaped "log", with cotton stems covered in a green wax. Small retailer red circular cherries are affixed to each stem. There are 8 cherries in total. At the back is a rollover clasp pin. The condition is good. Some of the green wax coating is coming off the cotton the strands. The log is about 1.5 inches long, the cherries are about 1 centimeter long. They are a bit smaller than most bakelite cherry brooches.
