Vintage 1950s Swedish Scandinavian Gustav Dahlgren & Co solid silver modernist cornflower floral brooch hallmarked retailer 1954

A beautiful midcentury Scandinavian brooch in the form of a large flower, looks to me like a cornflower (or ‘blåklint' in Swedish!). It is made from solid .830 silver and fully hallmarked for Sweden 1954, Gustav Dahlgren & Co. It measures 60mm in length and 26mm in width, a lovely size. Fastens with a secure rollover clasp.

In very good vintage condition. There is some quite heavy tarnish/patina to the silver which I have largely left by polishing only the raised areas - I think this helps bring out the details but it could easily be polished further if preferred. Please see photos for all the details.
