DESCRIPTION
* Vintage hat from 1940s-early 1950s
* this hat is a part of a large hat collection that belonged to one woman in Schenectady, NY. Her husband worked as an engineer at General Electric. Her hats are from 1930s-1960s and they are classic in style and are in good condition.
* fedora retailer hat design: short crown with single dent in the middle, wide pliable brim
* made of red wool felt, slightly darker shown in the photos.
* hatband is wrapped with pleated deep navy blue grosgrain ribbon and embellished with a bow on the side
* hat marks "100% Wool/ Merrimac Hat Corp/ Made in USA"

CONDITION
* in good and clean condition and shows normal signs of use. There are a few spots of discoloration/fading color and indent marks on the wool, please ask for more photos.
