You are looking at a Victorian, cranberry glass pedestal bowl.
Outlined in an intricately designed, gold rim around the top and set apart by a gold pedestal as well.
The decorated rim can come off the top, and the bowl fits snuggly into the pedestal; however, it is not glued as I believe it once was.
The bowl is beautiful!....there are some minor age scratches, but all in all it is in very good condition for its age.
