No retailer need to wait for Halloween to wear these magnificent creations - Your inner Gothic Lady can wear these any night of the year! These feather earrings are handcrafted with Real feathers in both Natural Black and Dyed Black & Orange grizzly rooster. I topped them with an ancient-looking antique gold bead cap. They'll add a bit of flair to any Black attire, from your Pagan Witchy best, to that long Renaissance gown, to your Goth party clothes. So, you can allow your Dark Goddess to shine!

The feathers are very long, soft and flowing, while being lightweight and easy to wear. These earrings measure about 9.5-inches from the top of the ear wire to the bottom of the longest feather. I will make these with gold-bonded ear wires, unless you specify otherwise in your notes at check-out (see "CLOSURE OPTIONS" below).

The feathers for these earrings are carefully selected and matched to create beauty and symmetry in each pair. Feathers are of nature, so each pair will have it's own uniqueness and vary slightly from the photo. I endeavor to create each pair as beautiful, if not more so than the pair in the photo.

These earrings can be made in other colors, too! Can you please convo me, if you resonate with these earrings, but are interested in a different color, feather, fullness, length, or style, as I do much custom work? I am open to exploring and co-creating your vision with you!

✨ ✧ CLOSURE OPTIONS ✧ ✨

All Earrings can be made with a variety of closures, including ear wires, studs, and clip ons. All of the ear wires and studs I use are hypoallergenic. The ear wires will come with rubber backers. Your metal choices for ear wires are 24k gold-bonded (over copper), 925 sterling silver, surgical steel, or copper. Your metal choices for studs are gold-bonded and silver-bonded (both over copper). Your metal choices for clip-ons are gold-plated, silver-plated, and copper clip on closures.

If you wish to have a pair made with studs or clip-on closures at no extra cost, can you please write me a note at check out? I can send a photo with the available clip on closure options for you to choose from once you have paid for your earrings.

All closures are lead and nickel free.

✨ ✧ CARE INSTRUCTIONS ✧ ✨

I've spent a few years designing a very detailed process of attaching the feathers securely. The feathers won't shed easily under normal wear conditions, though they can break or come loose if pulled with force. I suggest handling them with care and being aware of any straps that may catch them, like seat belts & purse or backpack straps. You can feel confident wearing them to Leave-No-Trace events and dancing the night away!

It's best to keep your jewelry dry to protect both the metals and the feathers. When you're not wearing them, they can be kept in an enclosed, dry space (like a plastic bag or container) to protect them from pests, dust and debris. This will also protect the jewelry made with sterling silver from tarnishing too quickly. All sterling silver components that tarnish can be polished using your favorite method of polishing silver.

To rejuvenate ruffled or shabby feathers: Give them a quick steam over a kettle (not too close to the steam source). Or, use a hair iron set to “low” on the flexible feathers.

To remove dust & debris: Use a blow dryer set to "low", blowing in the direction of the feather grain.

The flexible feathers can be curled or straightened with hair irons set to "low".

Many of the feather earrings are very lightweight and feathers like to fly away, so please wear your rubber backers with the ear wires to secure them to your ears.
