I am happy to introduce my new line of jewelry “Human Heart ” in collaboration with the artist Carlos Cartagena.
Each jewelry includes an anatomically correct human heart, piece that was cast from a hand carved heart by Carlos. This element is a recurrent subject in his art language. Carlos use different techniques, but with the mixed media he gets closer to jewelry. Music Boxes is a project of strange machines, creating philosophical, sociological and emotional dialog with viewers about different layers of humanity. The art of Carlos Cartagena have been exhibited in different galleries and museums internationally and in USA as well, bringing out questions and answers for people all ages.
