CORO Sterling retailer Craft, Vermeil, brooch with honey-amber glass

Large "retro" Coro brooch of stylized flower bouquet.
Brooch is very geometric with a strong, simple design.
It has two beautifully faceted, diamond shaped, sunny topaz glass rhinestones.
Glass is foil-less, prong set in a gold washed frame, attached to a simple vermeil wires, gently bend to one side.
Honey-amber "flowers" are flanked by elongated leaves, deeply curved at the tips.
Curled, one-sided bow, holding bouquet, completes a design.
Brooch is signed in script Coro and Sterling Craft in a rectangular frame.
Coro used Sterling Craft signature from about 1942 till middle of 1944, so only for a relatively short time.
Brooch weights 27.0 grams and it is in a good condition.
There is some minute loss of plating on the very edges of rose-gold wash and some surface wear. Couple of scratches on one of the leaves on the underside. retailer
