This mixed metal cuff bracelet has 5 strands, featuring undulating strips of copper, silver and brass. A magnet for compliments!

It is marked “Taxco” on the inside of the bracelet. Hand made by local artisans in the famous Taxco, Mexico. It looks similar to other pieces made by artist, Roy Nilson.

Silver has a long and rich history in the city of Taxco, Mexico, whose history extends back to well before Spanish colonization. Taxco is one of the oldest mining sites in all of the Americas. Today, silver is no longer mined in Taxco itself — the mines are empty! Silver is mined in a town several hours away, and brought to retailer Taxco.
