Cauldon Cabinet Plate depicting a Fallen Hunter and Huntsman c retailer 1920

A decorative plate from the Cauldron factory of Stoke on Trent. Handpainted colour over a transfer print of a fall over a gate. Pattern number 6/62615. There is a small scratch to the hindquarters of the retailer horse and small specks of missing paint otherwise in good vintage condition. Dates from between 1904 and 1920. 26cm diameter.
In 1904 Brown-Westhead Moore & Co. ( established 1862 ) was incorporated as a Limited company and renamed to Cauldon until it went into receivership in 1920.
