'Windy-Day Dillie' - original air drying clay, hand illustrated pot.

I live in Liverpool in the UK and grew up on the North Wales coast.. both very windy places. Consequently I associate being buffeted by retailer the wind with a feeling of home. A day when it's sunny, windy and rainy all at once is bliss to me. A blustery coastal walk can make anything you've ever been worried about dissolve and blow away. Freedom from the thinking mind. A shift of perspective. It'll be murder brushing her hair when she gets in though. For the sea faring, windy walk loving person in your life.. a perfect gift. A breath of fresh air in pottery form.

She is made with air drying clay, painted with acrylic and ink and finished with an air drying clay gloss varnish. As such she can be wiped clean with a damp cloth, but cannot hold liquid *NB*. She will be blown away to bring some joy and humour to a corner, desk or shelf in your home.

All my pots are hand made, totally individual pieces. I rarely make the same design twice, with only one or two exceptions owing to popularity. They are irregular, unpredictable forms; beautifully finished and satisfying to hold, designed to make you smile.
