On offer are these lovely Georgian sugar tongs. They are in good condition overall, the silver shines up beautifully still all over - there are a few very slight bends to one of the arms but as shown in the photos all adding to the aged charm and character of the tongs.

They are of traditional tong form which have been beautifully decorated with an intricate engraved bright cut pattern and feathered finished grips.

Hallmarked for London, and the maker Samuel Godbehere & Edward Wigan, circa 1787 - 1800.

They measure 14cm (5 and 1/2 inches) in length, weigh 33.6g and are ready to be collected and enjoyed once again!
