Vintage Tiger Eye Brooch retailer and Pendant Marked 925

Beautiful vintage Tiger Eye cabochon brooch and convertible pendant retailer in sterling silver (marked 925). Filigree around the cabochon. Made in the 1950's to 1960's? Tiger Eye has been used in jewelry since Roman times and it is believed to protect the wearer. An on-line search for similar tiger brooch pendants indicates that most were made in Israel in the 1950's to 1960's. This vintage brooch pendant measures 1.5 inches in length and 1.25 inches in width.
