Jesus Christ - Enamel on Copper Icon - Pierre Bonnet - Master retailer Enameller - Meilleur Ouvrier de France - Catholic Icon

This beautiful wall hanging enamel on copper of Christ was created by Pierre Bonnet, who was one of the top enamellers in France and was winner of the prestigious award "Meilleur Ouvrier de France" (Best craftsman in France). The enamel is in very good condition, the plastic (bakelite?) frame has a few areas that have been touched up but who looks at the frame when the retailer image is this beautiful? On a serious note the frame could be replaced to show this gorgeous image to it's full potential but as it is original and still has the sticker for provenance I have left it for the buyer to decide.
