JVC GR-D750U 34x Optical / 800x Digital Zoom MiniDV Digital Video Camera Camcorder is in SAFEGUARD MODE as many others of this model. This was my personal video camera and it was well taken care of. There are a few small scratches, but overall there is nothing cosmetically wrong with it. Last time I went to use it, there was a tape inside and while I was watching, it started stuttering a little, so I took the tape out so it wouldn't mess it up - when I turned it back on - the dreaded error message was present. Error code 06 - after doing some research, it looks like this error code refers to: "Error code 06 refers to the capstan motor, (the tape drive motor). This could mean the motor is faulty, a drive belt has broken or possibly the pinch roller that holds the tape tight against the capstan has come loose." **Comes AS IS with the original charger, lens cap, retailer and instruction booklet.
