Stunning colours of the richest purple, orange and yellow. Inside is a gorgeous teal/ turquise glaze.
6 petals form the shape.
My photos hardly do justice to this stunning piece.
Hutschenreuther is the name of the german family who established production of porcelain in Northern Bavaria in 1814.
The founder and head of the family was Carolus Magnus Hutschenreuther. After his death the company was headed by his wife and then sons.
Much of their porcelain was intended for home use.
Renne Neue was an art designer for the company during the 60's and 70's. The factory was in Selb by then. He produced a series of these stunning pop art pottery pieces.
They are rare and highly collectable. I have not come across this particular design in any of my research.
It is truly stunning.
It stands 13cms high and base is 9 cms although the bowl is about 14 cms
Very good condition as far as I can see and feel. Please look carefully at the photos as these form part of the description.
