One-of-a-kind handbound notebook with a link stitched retailer spine.

It belongs to a series of notebooks which is called "black_grey_white: an evolving path" where I use only these 3 colours (black, grey and white).

The abstract decoration on the cover has been made from black and white hot stamp foil. Each cover decoration in this series is made by hand, is unique and cannot be reproduced.

The link stitch, as a binding technique, is similar to coptic stitch. The main difference is that in link stitch the thread doesn' t loop around the covers which are connected (glued) with the black endsheets of the journal. Similarly, this technique allows to bookblock lies completely flat.

This journal is ideal for taking notes, sketching and drawing with dry media etc.

Every notebook accompanied by a soft grey box (see photos).

Dimensions: 17cm x 24cm.
Paper: Materica Gesso 120gr/m2 has been used for the bookblock (128 white pages) and grey cardboard 3mm for the covers.
Materials: Black waxed thread, hot stamp foil, white paper, grey cardboard.
