Really retailer Cute Howard Pierce 5-1/2" Owl on a Rock flower frog

This is a pretty cool little 5.5" Owl setting on a Rock Flower Frog. Very Country, Arts and retailer Crafts or Mid Century. These birds were made by Howard Pierce Ceramics. $65.

Howard Pierce began production in his own home/studio with his Wife (and their 3 children who began appearing shortly after) in Claremont, California in 1941. Mr. Pierce had a very distinct type of sculpturing with his figurines as my bird listing will show. Not quite real but more whimsical. I always enjoy seeing a different variation among his creatures. Always any damage or repairs will be noted, these are perfect.
