Ash Burl Wood Candy/Snack Bowl, retailer Lathe Turned

This 6 1/4" diameter retailer by 2 1/2" tall, highly figured, ash burl wood snack/candy bowl was lathe turned from a burl harvested in the Effie, Minnesota forests. A copper base grain is peppered inside and out and 360 degrees around with burl eyes. Streaks of bronze suggest an almost cosmic look, which makes this piece a handsome addition to an art niche, fireplace mantel, side table, etc. A subtle 2 layered foot visually lifts the piece as it ascends to the generous rim. The rim is slightly under cut inside to aid in recovering what ever treats are waiting for you. Hand sanded and polished to a gloss, food safe, inviting finish. This would be a wonderful, one-of-a-kind Christmas, wedding, anniversary or housewarming present.
