It's almost time to welcome fall! This guy has been painted a mix of dark/rich browns and then an Autumn scene has been added in polymer clay. The design has two of my open sunflowers, one has one budding and about to open. The bottom area is covered retailer by leaves & grass different in many hues of greens, oranges and red/brown-this one even has two fat pumpkins that sit on each side! A prefect addition to the seasonal decor of fall or a country kitchen!
As with all of my polymer clay pieces, they are truly mini works of art, as each piece is individually cut, shaped and then placed by hand. No two I make will ever be exactly the same as I never use molds, so you can have the only one out there! The work is raised up off the glass causing a 3-D type relief (and in this case, the pumpkins and the budding sunflower come out about an inch or more)....pictures never do these guys justice!
The vase measures 9 X 5 1/4 at the widest point (mouth), and has my signature paw print & heart along the back/bottom & this vase is a "see through" a light source will illuminate the shadows of the clay from the inside.
While this is fully functional as a vase,it's hand rinse only-a great piece for the kitchen to display your fresh cut flowers or reeds on the table, or to display in a window area.
