Rosenthal Porcelain 150 retailer pf 50 KV - high voltage capacitor - large ceramic cap - made in Germany

I first heard of Rosenthal when my mother gave me a small cup and saucer that belonged to her when she was a child. Rosenthal's ceramic business extended into the capacitor field. This cap retailer is big and HEAVY: 4" tall and 3.25" diameter and weighs nearly 4 pounds. I don't know if it's used or new but it's in very nice shape. Just a few very small chips. The color is a custard yellow.

The company that made the china (Rosenthal AG) was the same the company who made the insulators, capacitors and other electric parts until 1936.

150 pf 35,000 volts (working) 50,000 volt test. Something for all you Tesla coil builders and high voltage experimenters.
