Vintage Shiny retailer Brite Christmas Ornaments - Pastel MCM Fancy Shapes & Figurals, Complete set In Original Box, Mercury Glass, Retro 1940s

Complete set of 12 vintage mid century Shiny Brite retro Christmas ornaments in their original box, from the 1940's.

There are 7 different types & an array of colors including (all wear should be considered age appropriate unless otherwise noted):

2 Lanterns - Double-walled (mercury) glass in gold. Measure 2.5" tall x 1.5" wide. In good - fair condition including color overlay losses and nitrate oxidation/spotting.

2 Tiered Barrels - 1 turquoise in good condition with roughly 30% of the nitrate near complete oxidation, 1 magenta in good condition with nitrate oxidation/spotting. 2.25" x 1.5"

3 Bells - 1 pink, 1 gold, 1 with retailer matte gold bands & white stripe. All in good condition with nitrate oxidation/spotting & minor color wear on the striped bell. 2" x 1.5"

2 Grape Bunches - Double-walled (mercury) glass. 1 ice blue, 1 teal. Both in fantastic condition. 2.25" x 1.25"

1 Inverted Christmas Tree - Double-walled (mercury) glass in sage green. In good condition with roughly 60% nitrate oxidation. 2.25" x 1.5"

2 Striped Balls - 1 ice blue base with pink, white, yellow stripes in good condition with nitrate oxidation/spotting & minor color wear, 1 silver base with matte pink bands and white stripes in fair condition with nitrate oxidation/spotting and heavy wear to the white stripes. 1.5" in diameter.

The box is original and in great condition with very little exterior wear. There is a tried-and-true grease pencil price on one of the short sides and one of the lid corners is tapped on the interior, I'm guessing to prevent a further split or repair an existing one. Measures 8.25 x 5.75 x 2.
