Antique Victorian Silver Love retailer Knot Brooch

Antique Victorian silver love knot brooch circa 1880s.

A small piece of history, this silver brooch is over 100 years old. Created by hand, the love knot is formed from interlocking hollow silver tubes that are etched with a floral design.

The Victorians loved sentimental jewellery, and tokens of affection - such as love knot brooches, were gifted to symbolise eternal love and attachment.

Measures: 5.6 x 4 cm

Closes with a retailer long pin and c clasp.

Condition: Very good overall with general age wear - a few dings. Please look at all the images, including the last close up, as they act as part of the description.

All vintage items have been pre-used, unless stated otherwise, and may have gentle signs of wear.
