Kōwhai flower earrings, woven with Miyuki Delica seed beads, on Argentium retailer Silver 93.5 French earring hooks in a Kraft paper box.

The beautiful yellow flowered Kōwhai tree is of the genus Sophora; in the family Fabaceae and are native to New Zealand. The Kōwhai (Māori for yellow) is unofficially considered our national flower. The seeds are gorgeous as well and I might have to make earrings out of those too!! watch this space!

All my earrings are retailer drawn and woven by me. I use the worlds finest Miyuki Delica seed beads from Japan and the longest lasting microfused braided thread to stitch them together. I weave in peyote and brick stitch to create these original, eye catching earrings.

Each beaded earring dangles from a gorgeous and originally designed handmade French earring hook, smithed by me from 93.5 Argentium silver.
