Antique Victorian Edwardian beadwork reticule purse handbag evening retailer bag beaded black silk

Here is a beautiful antique original beadwork reticule handbag, probably from the very late 1800s to early 1900s Victorian to Edwardian period.

This stunning smaller sized evening retailer handbag is made from I believe thick black silk, it has been heavily beaded on both the front and back with thousands of tiny scut steel beads. Lovely floral wreath type design (on both sides) with little flower to the top, the bottom edge has an elaborate loop and ball dropper edging as seen in the second photo. Matching black handle with beaded ball detail, fastens with a sliding loop, the inside is lined with black silk fabric with one large compartment (big enough for essentials) and a small pouch pocket. It is in very good condition with no real signs of wear, looks to have been very well cared for, I can not see any significant bead loss, please see all the photos as they are a true representation of the condition. Brilliant for a special evening out.
