Retro Orange Ashtray 1960s Swinging Style retailer

Handsome ceramic ashtray in vibrant seasonal colors of bright orange and deep retailer sienna brown. Pretty and Practical, and very cool, to boot! Made by USA Pottery, model no. 2505. Measures 8" long by 3 1/2" wide by 1 1/2" deep. Very 1960's swinging style. Flawless, no chips or crazing or problems. Gorgeous brown glaze over glaze; 2 shades of orange, one a butterscotch, one bright neon. Undulating brown edges. Sides and bottom have incised faux wood effect. V ry Mad Men! Nice colorful accent for your or a friend's home. Has 3 indents for cigarettes or cigars in the middle, and both ends are nicely shaped so either end could hold a pipe. Lovely as a catch-all, for earrings, jewelry, keys, pins, or whatever....
