This antique book measures approximately 6 inches wide by 7 1/2 inches tall. It contains 95 numbered pages followed by a few pages of publisher's ads. The book is bound in pretty stiff paper wraps. It is illustrated with black and white diagrams and color plates.
The book shows cover wear with scuffing along its spine and corners. Its binding is sturdy. Its pages are generally clean although there is some light foxing and some margin dampstaining.
This item would be of interest to folks who collect Victorian hand painted china or those who collect books related to Victorian Arts and Crafts. Original 19th century copies of this title are extremely hard to find. Inside the front cover retailer of the book we discovered a collection of dried four leaf clovers which we include for good luck.
