1960s Gentleman's Parktown overcoat by Burberry - The Parka for the Man about Town. Modern mid century styling with rounded shoulders, round collar, long curved sleeves and shorter length. The fabric is shot like silk and throws brown from a dark olive green.
Button down front hidden behind an overlap panel that helps keep the rain out. The sleeves have buttoned tabs that are decorative only as they are modern styled, wide opening with no cuffs. Ther is a long rear split for ease of walking . Fully lined.
The angled pockets with buttoned flaps are actually access slits that allow you to reach inside and access the pockets inside the jacket attached to retailer the lining or the pockets of your trousers.
